Getting Started with Curriculum Connector Presentation

I created a presentation for professional development sessions on How to Use Curriculum Connector that incorporated key concepts for writing curriculum using PDESAS ex. Essential questions, content, skills, etc. The version below was created for elementary level staff and was based upon input from the elementary reading specialists

Online Assessment Tools Mini- Tech Session

Below is the handout from a professional development session that I ran on Online Assessment Tools. In addition to the initial handout, if you click on each individual tool you will find an additional handout that discusses lesson ideas, how the tool fits in the SAMR model, Google Integration and Common Sense Media's review of the tool and lesson flow. This handout was also posted on LMTSD IT HUB for any teacher who could not attend the mini-tech session.

The Raven Alternative Assessment

Worked with English Teacher to create an alternative assessment for students Raven project. Instead of drawing a picture with text below it, students created a Voicethread project where they posted a picture that they felt represented the poem and spoke lines from the poem over it and explained how they two are connected. Below is the information that I provided the teacher and the follow-up posts from the LMTSD IT HUB describing how to use Voicethread.

Breakout EDU:  The Constitution

I worked with the US Government Teacher to design a Breakout EDU lesson that would be used as an alternative assessment.  Below is the Breakout EDU Lesson Plan we created and pictures from the class.
